In this project, we will reanalyze the meteorology of the Japanese region by integrating the latest meteorological modeling technology with satellite and other observation technology, and maintain the four-dimensional temporal and spatial meteorological data for the Japanese region, including surrounding ocean areas, from the past to the present, as basic data for social design. We will also create a place for co-creation that will enable the strategic and organic utilization of various types of meteorological information, centered on this basic data, in all areas of society and industry, including the assessment of climate change in various regions of Japan and the analysis of the impact of past meteorological risks. In this way, we aim to co-create a safe, secure, and vibrant society and create social innovation through industry-academia-government-public collaboration in diverse industrial fields and regions, including energy, transportation and logistics, urban development, agriculture, forestry, and fishery, manufacturing, information, disaster prevention and mitigation, medicine and welfare, insurance, and finance.
